Guess has launched a new pair of denim jeans, and it’s one of the most unique brands to hit the market since it was founded in 1989.
The jeans are made in the US, but there’s a twist: they’re also available in Australia.
The Guess brand has made the jump to Australia since the Australian government passed legislation to ban imports of jeans made in China in 2017.
“The Australian Government passed a law that effectively bans imports of all products that are made or are manufactured in China,” the brand said in a statement to Mashable.
“So the answer is: you guessed it, you guessed wrong.”
Guess’s first Australian products came in the form of jeans that came in a variety of colours, but the brand has since expanded its range.
The brand is currently targeting casual wear, and the first pair of Guess jeans is available now in Australia for $100.
“There are three different colour options,” a spokesperson said.
“You can choose from three different sizes, so it’s the size that you’re comfortable in.”
And the look that you’d like to see.
“Guesses first Australian product came in black and blue, which was the first colour in its range, but since then it’s been changing colour and style, with the new jeans coming in grey, grey grey, and even navy blue.
In an interview with Mashable, Guess’s CEO James Anderson said the company was looking to make a bold statement.”
We are now taking our brand into a whole new direction,” he said.
The denim is also a limited edition and comes in a number of styles.”
It’s a collection of three colours, and we’re doing three different styles,” he explained.”
Our look is a little bit of a hybrid between a black and a grey denim look, but it’s also a classic black denim look.
“The denim comes in three styles: black, grey, navyblue, and navy.
The collection is available in the U.S. for $130, and in Canada for $90.
